The Auckland floods
The severe flooding that has afflicted the greater Auckland and surrounding areas has motivated the further consideration of construction systems that are largely weather proof.
Consequently, we have fielded many enquiries from parties affected by the flooding, in relation to provision of a building system which is impervious, and can remain exposed to wet weather for an unlimited time, without any loss of quality.
The failure of construction companies and construction projects
These are very difficult times we currently live in. Particularly, the prevailing cost pressures and dire funding constraints facing most construction companies and property development projects results in a frightening number of business failures and the stalling, or outright failure of property development projects.
There are many very good people, good strong operators, whom unfortunately are victims – through no, or little fault of their own – of this once in a lifetime re-set. These people have our sympathy.
We are fielding an increasing number of enquiries from distressed builders and developers seeking alternative, cost-effective building systems, and associated funding, for their troubled and stalled projects. In many – not all – instances, we are able to source a system that is cheaper, to the extent that we are able to rescue a project, or build.
